i'm going on about 3 hours of total sleep right now. so pardon me if there are any grammatical errors. this was our night last night:

10:00pm feed beckham

go to sleep

1:30 feed beckham when he wakes up starving

go back to sleep

3:15 court wakes up (he's been sick for a week, but this was the 1st night he woke in the middle of the night) - gave him tylenol

go back to sleep

3:30 beckham wakes up from a leaking diaper (change diaper, pajamas, and sheet) then rock him back to sleep. he thought it should be play time, but i said NO NO! :)

rhett is still trying to get court back to sleep cuz his throat hurts

go back to sleep

4:30 beckham spits up alot in his bed and can't go back to sleep - he burps a ton and then i get him back to sleep

5:13 is when i went back to lay in my bed
court is still restless so he and rhett go sleep on the couch downstairs

6:00 beckham wakes up screaming and has more gas so i burp him good and get him back to sleep

6:30 court is awake watching "hot dog" and rhett has to get ready for work (me too... hehehe)

7:00 beckham wakes up for the day bright-eyed and bushy-tailed

7:05 call mimi and ask her to come help because i am loopy to say the least!

hoping and praying for a better night tonight!

no boys allowed - girls weekend

last weekend, we started an annual NO BOYS ALLOWED - girls weekend on my mom's side of the family. it was SO MUCH fun!! it is the weekend of my grandmommie's birthday, and since she isn't around to celebrate with us anymore, we are celebrating for her! beckham got to tag along with mommy since i am his main source of nourishment. there were 3 other babies too! 8 week old twins, and 1 year old ellison. we had a full house. we rented a 7,000 sq.ft. house on the lake, stayed up late playing games, and ate ourselves silly!

we missed 2 of our ladies... mark your calendars heather and melissa - cuz we're doing it again next year! 

wordless wednesday (with words)

well, we are planning a big 2 year old's birthday party around here.... yep you guessed it - it's a HOT DOG party in honor of mickey mouse! :) we are just loving talking to court. he says probably 20 new words a day. of course we can't understand them all, but he can repeat just about anything you say... which is a little scary. :)

3rd month's a charm

he has found his fist and loves to put it in his mouth!

beckham is now 3 months old! he is just growing and growing and growing. we have put him in size 3 diapers because his "explosions" just can't seem to contain themselves in size 2. it will save me on stain remover that is for sure!  i'm predicting that he catches up to court (size 5 diapers) VERY fast. i just love this chunky monkey baby! i love every little fat roll i can find on him. i don't think babies can ever be "too fat" so i am REALLY enjoying squeezing all his cheeks!!

one of my favorite times of the day is right when beckham wakes up in the morning. he is just as happy as can be and will just tell you ALL about his night. he kicks and dances and coos forever and i LOVE IT! court loves to dance to HOT DOG (a.k.a. mickey mouse clubhouse) and now that beckham has started kicking his feet so much, he thinks beckham is dancing too! it is too cute to seem them dancing together! :)

this little boy just makes me smile, and i am so thankful that i get to hold him, feed him, play with him, and just stare at him all day long! :) i am one blessed mommy!

2 months is TOO fun!

i am trying my best to get ahead of the game and post on time about my precious 2nd son. but, we are just having 2 much fun being 2 months old! here are a few of my favorite things about 2 month old beckham:

• his smile can light up the ENTIRE house! he was born with a precious dimple on his right cheek, and now he has one on his left cheek too! girls..... eat your heart out!
• beckham is really starting to talk now. he'll just carry on an entire conversation. it's really fun while he's trying to nurse because all he wants to do is smile and coo at me. i could do it all day, but we'd REALLY not get anything done. i don't remember court doing this so early, but maybe he did. :)
• he is such a strong little boy. he is holding his head up great and will just hold onto your finger forever
• he loves watching court... i love seeing him follow court when he's walking around
• he is falling asleep by himself for the most part and taking great naps!! 
• he still likes to eat/snuggle 2 times in the night which is ok by me cuz i know it won't last forever. :)
• he weighs 12.4 lbs (as of a week ago) and is 23 in. long! he grew 3 inches in 6 weeks! no wonder he can't wear 0-3 mnth clothes anymore. onto the 3-6 month tub!
• i just love this little man to pieces and i LOVE having 2 boys!

guess who is 1 month old already?!?!?

guess what everybody?!?! i'm 1 month old! i am loving life with my big brother court. i'm looking at him in this picture - that's why my mom can't get one of me looking at her. i think my brother is the best thing ever! i am growing so fast and eating ALOT these days. i sleep really good at night and sometimes during the day. there is just too much going on during the day and i think i need to stay awake for all of it! my mom is working on that with me. :) we'll see who wins. i'm pretty sure i've got my mom wrapped around my finger. she LOVES to hold me and snuggle and i would let her all day if i could! my brother loves to help change my diapers and stick the pacifier in my mouth. he loves to kiss me and pat my back. my daddy can't wait to get home to play with me and court. he loves to sing to me and i think he's really good at it. well, enough for now. i've got to get ready to meet santa this year. i've been really good this whole 1st month of life so i think i might get some good presents.
